“Friday Nite Business Ventures held in Burwell” by Lawrence Johnson, Editor, The Burwell Tribune

March 9, 2018 The first Friday Nite Business Ventures was held at the Loup Basin RC&D/Loup Rivers Scenic Byway Interpretive Center, located along Highway 11 in Burwell.

Entrepreneurs and businesses were invited to display products and services from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the one-room school house site.

Shelly Albrecht of rural Brewster displayed her homemade soaps and lotions all produced from her own goat herd.

Karp and Krow were selling raffle tickets for their 10 guns giveaway or Ord or Burwell Chamber bucks. The money raised goes toward the 4-H conference shooting costs.

Sarah Jeffres displayed her Premier Jewelry items.

Simply Sunflower of North Loup grows and then makes their own organic sunflower oil and distributes it throughout the area and surrounding states.

Amy Hughes had her all natural skin care and makeup products by Alcone available for sampling and purchasing.

Jason Vore and Sean Jeffres had their display of homemade knives as well as some duck calls.
Friday Night Business Ventures will be held again on March 16th and 23rd from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. with new vendors sharing their products.

Thank you Lawrence and Cindy Johnson for your coverage of Friday Night Business Ventures in March 14, 2018 issue of The Burwell Tribune
