In 2007 Wolbach celebrated the 120th year of our founding and our 300 residents are lovingly refer to Wolbach as “Our Town.”

Citizens take great pride in the appearance of their property and in the three parks, pool, tennis court, lighted athletic field, churches (Methodist & Lutheran), post office, K-8 school, sod house and jail, 5-space campground with electric hook-up, and hometown businesses: Wolbach Grocery, St. Paul Bank, Grossart Hardware, Wolbach Garage, Farmers Union Coop Elevator, Nelson Processing (meat locker), Luke’s Shoe & Saddle, O’Gorman’s Oil, Corner Bar, Watering Hole, Robinson Body Shop, Wolbach Lumber Co., Corner Stylette (Beauty shop), Wolbach Welding, Wolbach Messenger (newspaper), American Legion & Auxiliary, and the spacious Community Club.
