When you visit Arnold you will enter the South Loup River Valley. The river follows a meandering path from the western outskirts of town past Old Mill Park and continues through town to Arnold State Park where a quaint and peaceful lake has formed. Both residents and visitors enjoy this lake. The South Loup River then continues its trek to the southeast.
